On-Site Cleaning
For rugs that can be appropriately cleaned at your home.
Specialized cleaning for the rugs that get walked on, lived on and occasionally blamed for tying the whole room together.
Area rugs aren't just smaller pieces of carpet.
Wool. Synthetics. Natural fibers. Hand-knotted rugs. Machine-made rugs. Different dyes, backings, construction and fringe.
They don't all play by the same rules.
Some rugs can bleed when they're cleaned. Some can shrink or distort. White fringe can turn brown if it isn't handled and dried properly. Spots can react differently than expected. And what works beautifully on one rug can create a very expensive problem on another.
That's why the first question shouldn't be “How cheap can I get this cleaned?”
It should be “Do they know what they're cleaning?”
We can clean suitable rugs on-site. Rugs that need extra care, specialized treatment or a deeper clean may be better cleaned at our shop. We’ll evaluate your rug and explain the appropriate approach.
We can handle the furniture, rolling, pickup and return—or you can have the rug rolled and ready to save on preparation costs.

We can clean suitable rugs on-site. The right approach depends on the rug’s fiber, dyes, construction and condition, and the care it needs. Absolutely.
We can move furniture, roll the rug, take it to our shop and return it when the cleaning is complete.
If you'd rather save a little money, have the rug rolled and ready for us. Less time spent moving furniture and preparing the rug means less labor for us — and less cost for you.
We'll talk through pickup and delivery when you schedule so there are no surprises.
Yes, but “can you clean it?” and “how should you clean it?” are two different questions.
Fiber, construction, dyes and condition all matter. Some rugs require significantly more caution than others, which is why we evaluate what we're working with before deciding on the cleaning method.
A nice rug isn't the place for trial and error.
Some dyes are more stable than others.
We evaluate rugs for potential dye issues before cleaning and adjust the process when necessary. That's especially important with rugs containing strong contrasting colors, where dye migration can become very noticeable very quickly.
The time to think about bleeding is before the rug is wet — not after.
Fringe can be one of the trickiest parts of properly finishing a rug.
White or light fringe can brown or discolor during the cleaning and drying process. When it needs additional attention, we'll work to correct that discoloration and properly finish the fringe rather than returning a clean rug with brown tassels hanging off the ends.
Often, yes — but how involved the treatment needs to be depends on how much contamination is present and how deeply it has traveled into the rug.
A couple of isolated accidents are very different from repeated contamination throughout a rug. We'll evaluate what we're dealing with, explain the options and let you decide how far you'd like to go.
There's usually more we can try, but the rug itself determines how aggressive we can safely be.
We'll balance the result you're looking for against the fiber, dyes, construction and value of the rug. Getting a stain out isn't much of a victory if you damage the rug doing it.
Size matters, but it isn't the whole story.
Fiber, construction, condition, fringe, spots, pet contamination, specialty treatments, pickup, furniture moving and delivery can all affect what goes into the job.
That's also why two companies can give you very different prices for what sounds like the same service.
The better question is whether they're actually providing the same service.
A properly cleaned rug doesn't just look better. Colors can look brighter, fringe cleaner, fibers fresher and details you forgot were there start showing again.

Whether it's a favorite rug that's been in the family for years or one you spent way more on than you'd care to admit, we'll treat it like something worth taking care of.
We’ll recommend the right approach for your rug, whether that’s cleaning at your home or taking it to our shop. If shop cleaning is needed, have it rolled and ready to save on preparation costs, or let us handle the furniture, pickup and return.
Your rug. Your call. Our job is to clean it right.
