First, the Once-Over.
We inspect the piece, identify the fabric, check problem areas and look for anything that could affect how it should be cleaned.
This is also when you show us the spot nobody is supposed to know about.
Expert cleaning for sofas, sectionals, chairs and the furniture your family actually lives on.
Movie nights. Snacks. Kids. Pets. Naps. That drink you definitely didn't spill.

Your furniture gets touched, sat on, slept on and lived on every day — but somehow it rarely gets the same cleaning attention as everything around it.
And because upholstery soils gradually, you may notice the symptoms before you notice the dirt: arms that look a little darker, cushions that don't quite match anymore, a favorite spot that's clearly everyone's favorite spot, or a piece that just doesn't feel as fresh as it used to.
That's usually not a reason to replace good furniture.
It might just be ready for a proper cleaning.
Upholstery isn't just carpet with cushions.

Different fibers, fabrics, dyes and construction can behave very differently when they're cleaned. The method that's perfect for one sofa may be completely wrong for the chair sitting six feet away.
That's why we identify what we're working with before we decide how we're going to clean it.
Some fabrics can handle a thorough wet-cleaning process. Others call for less moisture or an entirely different approach. Spots and heavily used areas may need specialized treatment of their own.
And that bottle of upholstery cleaner under the sink?
It doesn't know what kind of couch you have. We do.
Once we know what we're working with, it's time to get to work. The exact process can change with the fabric and condition, but the goal stays the same: get it as clean as we can while taking proper care of the furniture.
We inspect the piece, identify the fabric, check problem areas and look for anything that could affect how it should be cleaned.
This is also when you show us the spot nobody is supposed to know about.
Armrests. Headrests. Favorite cushions. Food spots. Body oils. Whatever needs extra attention gets it.
We select the appropriate pre-treatment for the fabric and condition, giving heavily soiled and problem areas the attention they need rather than pretending every square inch of your sofa has lived the same life.
Applying cleaning solution is only part of the job.
When the fabric allows, we agitate — or gently scrub — the upholstery to work the cleaning solution through the fibers and help loosen the oils, soil and buildup that have attached themselves over time.
It's an extra step. It's also an important one.
Spraying something on the surface and immediately rinsing it back off isn't always enough to get deeply soiled upholstery truly clean.
Once we've loosened what doesn't belong there, we use the appropriate cleaning and extraction method to remove it while carefully controlling moisture.
When wet extraction is appropriate, we're not trying to see how much water your couch can hold. Proper extraction and additional dry passes help recover moisture along with the soil and cleaning solution we've loosened.
When we're finished, we don't just pack up because we've touched every cushion.
We'll inspect the piece again, give anything that needs another attempt the attention it deserves, position everything properly and help the fabric dry as efficiently as conditions allow.
And before we leave, we'll tell you what to expect before you reclaim your favorite seat.
It depends on the fabric, cleaning method, how much attention the piece needed and conditions in your home.
We carefully manage moisture during cleaning and use additional dry passes to recover as much as practical. Air movement can also help when faster drying is important.
Have a specific deadline or need the furniture back in service quickly? Tell us. We can talk through the options and set the right expectations before we start.
We can clean a wide range of upholstery, but not every fabric should be cleaned the same way.
That's why identifying and evaluating the fabric comes first. Some materials tolerate wet cleaning beautifully. Others require lower moisture, specialized chemistry or a different method entirely.
If we don't believe a particular cleaning method is appropriate for your furniture, we're not going to experiment on your sofa.
There's almost always something we can try — but how far we go depends on the fabric, the stain and what you're trying to accomplish.
Many spots come out with normal professional treatment. Others may require additional chemistry, time or more advanced techniques. And sometimes what looks like a stain is actually permanent dye loss, fading or fiber damage that cleaning can't reverse.
We'll explain what we're seeing, what we think is possible and what the options are. Then you decide how far you'd like us to go.
We love pets. Your couch may have slightly more complicated feelings.
Hair, body oils, saliva and accidents can all work their way into upholstery. And when urine gets below the surface into cushion material, simply cleaning the fabric may not solve the entire problem.
We'll evaluate how extensive the issue appears to be and talk through the appropriate options rather than covering it with fragrance and calling it fixed.
Just give us reasonable access to the furniture and remove blankets, pillows, toys and other personal items.
No need to dismantle the living room on our behalf.
If there's a particular spill, stain, pet accident or previous cleaning attempt we should know about, tell us. The more we know about what happened, the better.
Your sofa probably gets more use than you realize. Arms, headrests and favorite cushions can accumulate body oils and everyday soil long before the entire piece starts looking dirty.
How often it needs attention depends on how it's used — kids, pets and nightly couch time make a difference.
Rather than waiting for the whole sofa to look tired, regular care can keep heavily used areas from getting years ahead of everything else.
Sometimes you don’t realize how much a piece has changed until you see what it looks like clean again.
